Sunglass Hut updated their brand identity to more accurately reflect the company’s status as a leading retailer of fashion and performance sunglasses. To accompany the updated identity, Sunglass Hut wanted to re-engage all employees, from regional vice presidents to store associates, on the importance of supporting the company’s brand with a culture of outstanding service that would surprise and delight customers. This included hiring the right people who could bring the culture to life.
Kennedy Communications worked with the Sunglass Hut senior leadership team to create an instructor-led training program that set context by explaining the basics of branding and the importance of brand value. The course then taught the pillars of the Sunglass Hut brand and helped employees understand how the company’s culture establishes the brand in the minds of customers. A hiring kit brought it all together in an easy-to-use tool would help managers and vice presidents hire the best employees.
