Channel training gives Intel the Retail Edge

Intel sells most of its products to customers indirectly – through big box stores and other hardware retailers. In order to successfully sell products in this indirect way, sales associates in the retail venues need to easily understand features and benefits of the latest Intel products and be able to recommend them to customers over other competitive products. Sales associates tend to be young and tech-savvy, and need information presented in a fresh but intelligent way. Kennedy Communications worked with Intel to generate material for the Intel Retail Edge Program. This program provides regular kits to retail associates that include sales tools, contests, games, and other material that is presented in a branded and fun way. Each kit features a theme and messages that reflect the latest Intel products. Being able to communicate directly with retail associates who are not Intel employees offers the company an invaluable opportunity to engage this audience in the company’s brand vision, which will ultimately reach the customer.
