Dan Biesma serves as the Managing Director for the European Office of Kennedy Communications.

Dan started his career as a Brand Manager for Beiersdorf, parent company of the Nivea brand. After that he held marketing, communications, and sales management roles at Sara Lee and Yellow Pages.

Dan joined Kennedy Communications in 2007 when the European Headquarters was opened in Hilversum, the Netherlands, and is leading the first internal-external marketing alignment agency present on the old continent. The European Office serves clients that include Nike EMEA, NEC-Philips, Unilever, and Cascade Europe.

Dan has an international scope and is known to be result- and people-oriented, and to have creativity, cogency, and humor combined with organizational sensitivity.

Dan earned his master degree in Business Economics and Marketing from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and was an economics teacher while attending the university.  He is fluent in English, Dutch, French, and German.  

Dan loves different sports both as a participant and a spectator. He is also fond of travelling, reading, and watching movies and quality dramas like The Sopranos and 6 Feet Under. Dan lives near Amsterdam with Wils and their 3 year old son Nate.
